This is what losing your best friend actually feels like.

HO! HO! I am back. Gosh, I missed being here.
The whole rush of posting and the fear of waiting and the craziness all of this involves. I missed this.
First of all, I am sorry about not being around for a while. My email subscribers know the reasons and I hope they have forgiven me.
If you haven’t. Then I am sorry but life really took over the wheel.
I really regret the decision of giving up. I apologise. I won’t do that again.
SO I am back and going to publish on every Saturday.
Just like before.
I really hope to see you all there again.

You can be ready for a war but not for losing a best friend.
You didn’t see it coming. You are still trying to figure out the hows and whys of it all.
One moment everything was great, you both were laughing and making promises to stay. Heck, you both had dreams to go on a road trip.
Forever was something that seemed possible. You honestly believed you both could go through anything that life threw at you.
There was a bond you both had, a certain trust and a little maturity. What else could a friendship need?
Yes, friendship.
It gets difficult because if you lose a lover, you still have your best friend to rant to. But if you lose your best friend there are stones in your throat and even when you try telling other people things. You cannot tell the whole story even if you try. How can you? They are not your best friend!
Losing a best friend is like losing your partner in crime, your three am call and your cheerleader all at once.
Yet there is so much more than that.

But Sometimes They Leave, No matter what (Poetry)

But darling, sometimes they leave.

They just walk off while standing right there.

And that is the biggest deception of it all.

They are there. Standing.

But not for you anymore.

The people you trusted so much,

the people who were your rocks are suddenly gone.

And it makes you question everything from day to night

and how maybe that is what you always were supposed to be, Alone.

And sometimes the people you saw your future with, Leave

Without stumbling or even pausing.

Without hesitating even a bit.

A Letter to the one I lost..

Dear Sarah,

I saw you today. I saw you and thought of how that was supposed to be me, the one holding flowers for you in that tiny cafe by the sixth Street , the one that watched you laugh today, the one that played with your hair and your lips, the one to love you. It was supposed to be me. But it wasn’t.

Instead, I was the one that stood there and watched,  as you smiled adorably at him just the way you used to smile at me at some point. I saw, you wore the bracelet I gave to you, on a date with him. Glad you took a part of me with you.

Not Ruining another Day.

 Not ruining another day

Suddenly its been a while since they left. You are finally learning how to live without them. It has been a while since you accepted they wont return. You know because you waited. You waited for too long.

Then one day suddenly you randomly hear their name on the street.  By the most whisper by two giggling girl. You hear their name and your world stops still.  Your heart starts racing and your mind goes blank and everything runs back to your head. The memories, the tingles, the loneliness it all comes back again. Your eyes start tearing up and your grip on the coffee mug loosens. You bite your lip , yell at yourself to get on with it. But you just cannot. Not anymore. A lone tear makes its escape down your cheeks against your will. Just a name is all it takes.
